I was inspired to write this, due to my mother being a teacher. She is quite a scary at times, but a good teacher and mom, a good teacher according to so many thank you's from her students. Also, I was watching both Girl Meets World, and Boy Meets World, and the relationship they had with their teachers is so wonderful. So, I wanted to do this, for one of the only characters that really loved their teacher. This person gave him many more lessons other then just normal ones. He gave him life lessons, that he would forever cherish.

Dear Mr. Brunner/Chiron,

Hey, it's Percy, or Mr. Jackson as you sometimes called me. I prefer Percy. Sorry, I'm rambling aren't I? It's just...I don't know how to do this, I'm sorry. I think. I don't know. I'm not really good with words...as you know. You may or may not wonder why I am writing you this letter, it's simple, really.

I wanted to say...well...thank you. You are like a father to me, since y'know, he was kinda busy. With y'know, godly stuff. But, you were there for me, whenever I needed you. Before, and after I was a demigod, and I never knew how to really thank you for everything. You know I can't go on without thanking the people that mean most to me. And, I don't think I ever got the chance to really thank you. You were always there for you when I really needed you, and even when I didn't.

You continued to believe in me even when I thought that no-one would. I guess, that's what made you such a good mentor, and teacher. You always wanted to be involved in our lives, whether we wanted you to or not. You taught me so much more then just fighting, and regular boring-teacher-subject stuff, but you helped teach me to become the person that I am today.

You made me a hero, it was you, and my friends, that made me become the man I am right now, Chiron. I grew up thinking that I would never have a real father-like figure. Even though I figured out I had one, you were like a real one. In ways, I hoped you would be a father-like figure to me, Chiron. I never really liked my teachers, but you, I liked. You were patient with me, but gave me a well needed push. You...never left. It's like you drilled a way into my soul, and forever left your mark.

I...guess what I am trying to say is: Thank You Chiron.

Thank you for making me the person I am today, and everyday for that matter. Thank you for your support, and your belief in me, and everything I did, no matter how stupid it may seem.

I would hate to say goodbye, so I won't.

I am simply saying...see you later, Chiron.

Your student, (better be your favorite one at that.)

Percy Jackson.
