This story takes place in during season 6. Lorelai is getting up to go to the flower shop with Sookie after Luke said he wanted to post-pone the wedding.
Luke- Why Won't you tell me where you are going?
Lorelai- I'm being mysterious so you find me entertaining 100 years from now.
Luke- Come back to bed please.
Lorelai- I can't. I have to go cancel things. June 3rd things.
Luke- Oh. I'm Sorry about all that.
Lorelai- It's okay.- she looks down at her shoes.
Luke- Please come back to bed. You don't have to cancel everything today.
Lorelai- I don't?
Luke- No. I mean…. I might sort everything out before June 3rd.
Lorelai- Really? You mean we don't have to post-pone?
Luke- I was being stupid, and made a decision before I thought about it. June 3rd has been a long time coming. I'm ready to marry you.
Lorelai- Smiles at him- Seriously? You have no idea how happy this makes me- she throws her jacket on the floor and crawls back in bed and kisses him softly
Luke- I'm glad you are happy. I strive to make you happy. Coffee, food, and sex. Now I can add getting married to that list also.
Lorelai- yes yes add it!
Luke- ok. Go get in your pj's again.
Lorelai- Gotcha- she runs into the bathroom and gets in her snoopy pj's again, and crawls back in bed.
Luke- wraps his arm around Lorelai's waist and closes his eyes again.
Lorelai- Thank you Luke.
Luke- You don't need to thank me. I Love You that's all that matters.
Lorelai- and coffee. Don't forget the coffee.
Luke- I wouldn't dream of it.
