turnabout homes

phoenix wright was at home when a dead body appeared

sherlock holmes arrived and told him that a man in the home next to him had been arrested and the man in the other home next to him had been a witness to the crime

gumshoe gave phoenix the autopsy report saying the man bled after getting shot while in the defendants home and was then moved to phoenixs home

holmes brought phoenix to the victims home which was across the street and then brought him to the witnesses home

"tell me mr witness you are quite suspicious because you have commited a crime" said sherlock

"no" said witness "i just saw it all from my bed window"

but sherlock used reasoning to prove that the witness couldnt have seen anything because the house is next to it not in front of it so his crime was jaywalking which is proven by the broken lights but phoenix objected that his real crime was burgery proven by the broken window in the mans house

the man was cornered they just had to explain the crime of murder

"you broke down the bedroom door which was locked but its a weak door so it can be broken then you killed the victim cause you didnt expect him to be there you then went into the defendants house through the open window and put blood on the floor to make us think he was killed there then moved him into phoenixs house through the chimney to confuse us" sherlock explained

the man wanted evidence so phoenix looked through the fireplace which he didnt have on but the man expected it to be on cause its cold but phoenix is a man who needs no fire to stay warm and he found a blanket covered in blood which is what the man wanted to burn to dispose of evidence

the blood proved the victim was killed in bed so the man confessed to murder

the end
