phoenix wright was in his office when he heard about another death in a locked room so he went there to the crime scene
the victim was lockedattorney an author he had been writing a story called titled "the unfinished turnabout" there wasnt anything suspicious about the story though aside from it not being finished
they arrested maya because shes the most suspicious person even though she couldnt get into the locked room because she was in prison at the time for murder
gumshoe showed phoenix the victims bottles of ink because he used feathers to write like a rich author
however phoenix noticed the bottle on the table looked different and he examined it and saw the label said "poisonous ink"
phoenix revealed that the victim inhaled the toxic smell of the ink and that killed him so noone was the killer
unfortunately someone had to go to court so phoenix defended maya
he forged an autopsy report so hopefully he could make it easier to win
the next day edgeworth showed phoenix evidence saying that her hair was found in the coal in the chimney and she could have climbed out the reasons she got out was because meekins was guarding the cell block also he gave him the autopsy report saying the time of death was 7pm
at the trial edgeworth presented his case

"maya was in the room my evidence proves it she got in through the chimney the reason i say this is because this maya hair it was found in the coal the proseuctions case is unbeatable give up wright"
phoenix was shocked at the unbeatable testimony as there was no evidence to fight it but then he heard a voice telling him to not give up it was ryunosuke and sherlock holmes
"yes we didnt go back home cause our boat was cancelled but you cant give up here my son i know because it turns out im your grandfather" said ryunosuke
"but there is nothing i can do" said phoenix
"yes but this is the end we must use one final trick called the supra objection" said holmes "so yea tell us what parts of the testimony are lies and truth and present the evidence that makes u think that"

"ha ha that autopsy report is outdated" said edgeworth presenting the forgery
"YOUR HONOR DAT THING IS FORGED" shouted phoenix summoning the coronor who confirmed it was fake
edgeworth screamed and lost his badge and became a hobo
they also doubted mayas guilt from her last trial since he was the prosecutor so she was declared not guilty of both murders even though she was the killer of the first one too
after the trial phoenix ryu sherlock apollo and kyle all danced to music to celebrate their win of the final case
