Assasino Chapter 1

I am awakened violently at the sound of bumping and thrashing from the next room. Quickly I tie up my corset and run out of the room.

"HELP!," Mazia Screams, "Please, someone quick!"

Mazia has always been quite the loud one of the two of us, especially when we were little, but this was no ordinary scream.

I barge into the scene of Verire beating her to a pulp. It's a good thing I know how to fight.

Ever since I was 8 I've always wanted to be part of The Brotherhood, the secret organization of assassins aimed at protecting us all for the Templars. I know how to fight but Paola never allowed me to practice because it's "too dangerous". I never intended to become a courtesan either, but it's the only way for a single woman to make money now days. But now it was getting me and my sister into more trouble than it was supposed to be helping us with.

"Let go of her you bastardo!" I shout as his face gets hit square in the jaw.

And that's when I saw him. Ezio Altedore De Fareze. The Assassin.

He came in like a lightning bolt. He probably heard my sister's cries from across the hot, brick, street.

First he smashed Verire's face into his rough hands, and then holds his neck at the point of his blade.

"Don't you EVER touch these girls EVER again!" Ezio yells as he tosses him out the window. "I came as fast as I could." I'm sorry I didn't come sooner."

He walks over to my sister, still huddled in a corner, terrified from the battle.

"Now show me what he did." He commanded.

She pointed first to her face, then her leg. Her beautiful face was her best asset. And her only one.

He calmly carried her out the window onto the street.

As he left I heard him yell, "Nice fighting though!" and he was gone.
