ROXAS IN WONDERLAND: MEET CHESTER CAT
Roxas walked through the dark, creepy woods of Wonderland with his keyblade in hand. He was out completing a mission for Xemnas and somehow got lost. As he walked past a tree with its branches curled in a wick way, he is startled to see a grin float in mid-air and greet him.
"Hello"
"Who are you? Show yourself." Roxas said with a shaken voice. He tightened his grip on his keyblade. The grin soon was apart of a floating cat's head.
"I am Chester, Chester the cat. May I ask who are you?"
"I'm Roxas, number XIII in Organization XIII," Roxas then stared at the now fully visible cat and frowned,"How can any of this exist? A cat that talks? Men with the power to control elements? People without hearts?" Roxas was obviously thinking out-loud at the moment.
"Why can't it exist? "the cat said while vanishing and reappearing on another branch. Roxas was in shock and realized his thoughts where spoken out-loud. "May I ask you why they can't exist."
"Because it is not logic," Roxas said with an angered look on his face "and if it is not logic, it shouldn't exist." He continued.
Chester vanished again and Roxas tried to search for the cat to find out he was on a branch three feet away. Chester let out a half purr, half chuckle. Roxas got even angrier because he didn't see what was so funny. Chester read the expression on the teenager's face and said with a smirk on his face, "Let me tell you a secret."
"What is it, cat?"
"Logic doesn't exist."
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!"
Chester vanished and this time, reappeared floating above Roxas' head. "Logic is just a boundary laid down by people that only believe in things that they think should exist, not in things that can possibly exist." Roxas was puzzled at what the cat said.
"I don't understand."
"Logic is just a way to make everything seem like it makes sense. You, my friend, are one of those things that logic can't explain, thus making you even more than just being."
Roxas thought about what the cat said and opened his mouth to say something but he realized the cat was gone. He stayed there for a minute and then continued on his mission. He walks through the woods just like before, but this time, with a smile, because he knew that not everything had to make sense.
Author's note- I don't own neither the characters nor the game Kingdom Hearts II so I don't know if Wonderland is a mission or a place on the game. This was just for fun. Hope you enjoyed it.
