Tohru looked the sky with pale skin now. She knew her time will come sooner than everyone expected, make her feel guilty. She already managed to solve the Sohma's problem and the curse now is gone as long as Kyou's cursed.
She packed all her things while everyone is on the main house to celebrate and congratulate Akito who had been freed from the curse. She tried to smile as the scenes with the doctor two months ago appeared in her mind again.
Flashback
"I'm sorry to say this Miss Honda. But, after I studied your cancer condition right now, I must say that you don't have a longer time to live anymore..." the doctor explained.
Tohru just gave a surprise look, but she remained calm then smiled to the doctor. "How much longer I could stand?" She asked.
The doctor sighed. "About...three months miss Honda.."
Three months? Tohru gave a sad look. Only three months... I only have three months...
End of flashback
Tohru left the house just before the Sohma family came home. She went to anywhere, which is nobody know.
Kyou felt his heart is fully blossom because he's going to tell Tohru about his feeling. He couldn't hide his feeling anymore as he found out that he is really falling in love with the girl.
"Tohru! We're home!" he said as he entered the house, but he could only found nothing except silence. Yuki, Shigure and Kyou explored the house but found nothing except a piece of paper in Tohru table.

Simple... as simple she entered Sohma's problem with her innocent mind and managed to solve their problem. Hatori suddenly appeared in the house followed by the other zodiac and Akihito. They found something suspicious about Tohru.
"Kyou, Yuki, Shigeru! Where's Tohru?" Hatori asked, they only shook their head, said that they don't know.
Hatori showed the medical checkup paper which is belong to Tohru. In the end of the letter they found the word which is made all of them shocked.
"Brain cancer?" asked Kyou disbelieved. "I...I've got to find her" Kyou left the house looking for any sign of Tohru.
One month later...
They all now in Tohru funeral. They found Tohru at one of the hospital in Kyoto, but they are too late. Tohru is in coma and was unconscious since half month ago. Kyou never left Tohru since he found her, always talked to her even he knew she never heard but he still pretended and believed that Tohru heard what he say.
After he took care of Tohru for half month, Tohru let her last breath beside kyou.
After all people left the tomb, Kyou remained in his place. Why?...I never noticed... I often caught you in pain, but just ignored it... how fooled I am...
What could I do now Tohru?... I couldn't life without you. You are my everything... what should I do? Answer me Tohru...
He cried out loud. The pain brought him on. He couldn't stand anymore... I wish I could be with you ... forever... I love you... Tohru..
