"RON!" Called Harry angrily. "I told you not to touch the light switch!"
"I'm sorry Harry but I didn't' know what it did. I'll quickly switch it back on before we get caught."
"They have security cameras, stupid."
"So muggles use cameras too?"
"YES RON..."
"What did you call me?" asked the security guard.
"Ummm..."
"I asked you what did you call me?"
"A muggle, sir."
"A WHAT."
"A muggle. A non-magic person."
"And you're saying you are magic? Are you?"
"No sir. It was a very stupid joke and I absolutely regret it." Harry sniggered.
"What are you laughing at, boy?"
"Nothing sir."
"OK, you may be excused."
Harry and Ron walked silently out of of the airport. Neither could believe what had just happened. Their first half-hour in Australia had been a disaster. They saw the taxi waiting for them on the side of the road. "There's the taxi." Said Harry
"What's a 'tack-sy' asked Ron."
"A form of muggle transport."
"Really, are we going to ride in it?"
"Yes Ron."
"Brilliant!"
"Come on, we'll be late."
"Ok."
"That'll be $20 thank you." Said the taxi driver, who, like most Melbournian taxi drivers, was Indian. Harry fished through his backpack for some of the sheets of plastic the Aussies call money. He found one with a '20' printed on it and assumed it meant $20.
"Here..."
"Thank you!"
"That's OK. Bye!"
Harry and Ron walked into the hotel foyer.
"Hi. How are ya'?" asked the receptionist.
"Ummm... I'm good thankyou."
"Ok so ya naymes please."
"I'm Ron and this is Harry."
"OK. Ya'r in room aleven B."
"Thanks."
"One min-et while I prow-sess that." Then the phone rang. "Hello? Oh G'day Jim. Wun sec. Hold on... OK ya can go to ya rooms naw. Here's tha kee. Jus' press aleven in tha lift."
"Do you mean the elevator?"
"Yep!"
"Ok then. Bye."
"See ya."
Harry and Ron headed across the room. "Ok so how do we work this thing?" asked Ron.
"Like this." Harry pressed the up button and the doors opened. "Get in." The boys soon arrived on the eleventh floor. Once they found eleven B they opened the door.
"Woah..."
