Well, this is the first thing I have written in a while! Feels good. I finally got to watch some Stargate, so I had inspiration. Let me know what you think!
Falling
She is falling into him, crying out as he pushes against her, sending her tumbling over the edge into oblivion. Her sanity dangles in the balance; she does not know how much more of this sweet torture she can take and then it is over. Then there are giggles and murmurs in a tent of linen and she anchors to him as she falls again.
He is falling into her with every thrust, every movement bringing him closer to the core of her being. He holds fast to the anchor which keeps him tied to this world, this plane of existence. Her arms around him is all he needs before he is both lifted into heaven and falling all over again.
She is falling in love, slowly, delicately. She would rather ease into the pool of her emotions with her floaties on and allow herself time to adjust to the shock of colder water. Her feet betray her movement, though, and with a gentle slip, she falls into his waiting arms.
He is falling in love with her hard and fast. Whereas her movements are slow and delicate, he prefers to dive right in, knowing what he wants and how best to seize it. He reaches for her, hoping they will meet together as they fall.
She is falling, slipping down a dusty path as she stumbles her way to the Stargate, her coat ghosting behind her. She reaches the pool of blue, shimmering from internal light and turns to see that
He is falling, smoke rising from his chest as he tumbles backwards, never landing in her eyes, all she sees is him falling. He looks straight up into skies that match the pool of blue that surrounds her, framing her horrified face with an angelic glow. He breathes, remembering how they fell together.
Rain falling, plastering their coats to their bodies as the happy lovers danced in the streets.
Hair falling across her eyes as she meets his gaze with a coy smile.
Clothes falling, strewn in the heat of passion onto a tile floor.
Shells falling, echoing hollowly as they rat tat tat to the ground.
A smile falling as she realizes it has some to an end.
And then the world is falling in for her.
When you are falling, it's hard to stop, she realizes. You can hit your brakes, you can flap your arms until they fall too, but in the end, it's the impact that gets you.
She has stopped, for now, and only the tears are falling.
