Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. Never did, never will. 'Fraid I'm not your gal, guys. But, read my fanfic anyway!
"I want a present."
"DO NOT start again, Black! I'll kill you! I swear on my life."
"So... If I don't die, you will?" His voice was hopeful, battering his eyelashes innocently at the girl, who glared at him in return.
"Don't be a cranky girl" Sirius mused, with a mocking laugh.
"Come on, Sirius... be quiet for once" James said, rolling his eyes, fingers running through his charcoal black hair.
"Nice try. I'll never shut up! NEVER!" A laughter followed, as Sirius leapt atop the couch, arms out like a plane. He stepped onto the thick arm, before putting his hands on his hip. "Hahaha. Never!"
James looked at the floor. Lily rolled her eyes. "Trust me, you'll be on the floor in a matter of seconds if you don't hurry up and leave."
Sirius raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I don't think so."
"Then you know nothing of gravity." Lily punched Sirius in the shins with her fist. He doubled forward, before plunging toward the ground.
James' laughter was the loudest thing there. "She so got you, Sirius!" he choked.
Lily turned on her heel and left.
"I do not like her" Sirius said, frowning, before sitting up, "Did you see what she did to me?"
"Yes. I believe I got the best view."
"Jaaaaames! Shut the hell up! It hurt!"
"Okay, I'm scared to ask... But why is Sirius purple?" Remus entered the room, looking at Sirius with a raised eyebrow.
Sirius choked on his words. "What the hell? I'm not purple! ...Am I?" Sirius looked at his arms. Nope. They weren't purple.
"Well, not your arms. But your face is" Remus commented.
"I told you she got you!"
"Evans can go die!" Sirius said, with a pout, hugging his knees, "That hurt! And now I'm purple! Remus! REVERSE IT!"
Surprisingly, Remus shook his head. "No way."
"What do you mean, 'No way'? Do it as a Christmas Present?"
"I already brought you a present, Sirius" Remus sighed.
"You have?"
"Sirius; Christmas is TOMORROW."
"Oh-My-God... IT IS?" Sirius leapt to his feet. "I mean– Oh. Yeah. I've brought you guys presents... yeah..." He looked around, eyes narrowed, as James and Remus stared at him.
"We have a Hogsmeade trip, don't worry" James said, rolling his eyes, "But are you up to going as a purple guy?"
"No! I told you! I got your presents! My mind just backed up. No worries!" Sirius said, with a laugh. But, that was not what he was thinking.
Oh my God... How the hell am I gonna get presents by tomorrow? It's only... less that twenty four hours away!
"Oh, good then" Remus said, walking over to the Portrait Hole, "Well, I'm starved. I'm gonna go grab some food."
"Remus?"
"Yeah?"
"Didn't you just come from the Great Hall?"
Remus looked at the floor. "Nooo... Of course not..." He coughed, and left.
"He must be pretty hungry!" Sirius commented.
"So am I." And, James left to.
"Great. I need to get presents..." Sirius muttered, "Presents... presents... presents..."
"Er. Sirius? Are you coming? Aren't you hungry?"
"Oh! Yeah! Of course!" Sirius ran forwards, before colliding with a table, and tripping. "Damn that table... How many times have I..."
"One hundred and twenty seven."
"...Oh?"
"Yep."
"Wow. That's... a lot. I think they should move it. DOWN WITH THE TABLE!" Sirius yelled, before climbing to his feet, and running from the room, wildly.
Lily, meanwhile, grinned. It was a bit of a strange action, but she had some very interesting information. She would be the Grinch that stole Sirius' Christmas! And a part of his friends, too. It was small... but it'd be worth it!
"I just don't want to be a Grinch... I'll be... The... Red-Headed-Fairy. Yeah. That's good."
A/N: I know it's short, but how is it?
