Prologue:

Alexandria was a model student, honor roll, cheerleader, and student council member.
Her best friend used to be Macy Anderson, but now it's Luna Mason.
But after Mitchel dumped her, she vowed to never change back.
So now, in the summer after he dumped her, she's stuck at a family reunion in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
