So I wondered, how would Fi feel this time, after Michael is taken from her at the end of Season 4.

Places

She'd found another place, one without termites or bees. Nice and new. Furnished. She had a few things, salvaged from the wreckage of what had promised to be a very comfy place, thank you very much. Smoldering ashes. It really shouldn't have bothered her so much, that it had been blown to little itty bitty pieces. She'd done a fair share of blowing things up herself. But that was a lot of shoes. And clothes. Ah well, easily replaced, and fun to shop for, so no problem there, really. The snow globes were still in storage, so no problem there, either. Keep it in perspective, Fiona. They were just things. People are what matter. He is what matters.

So she'd painted her favorite colors in the rooms that mattered most. Bought some groceries to keep in the refrigerator. Gone to yoga, to the shooting range with Sam. Dropped in on Madeline to see how she was doing. Because if you miss him, feel a hole in your heart, she does too.

But at night, every night, it is the loft. Where even though nothing is hers, the fact that it is his makes all the difference.
