Summary-18 has a nightmare about Cell. Krillin hears her calling his name and a romance starts to bloom.
The Woman In Me
"No," 18 called in her sleep. "Get away! Leave me alone!"
I'm not always strong
And sometimes, I'm even wrong

And I can't stand to lose
Outside, Krillin heard her yelling. He got up from bed, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "What's wrong with 18?" he mumbled to himself, opening his door and entering the hallway.
But I can't always be
The rock that you see
He opened the doors to 18's room to find her thrashing about the bed, screaming. It was a wonder that Master Roshi and Oolong hadn't woken up, but their heavy drinking must have set them in a deep sleep.
'I should leave her alone,' Krillin said. 'She wouldn't like it if I saw her like this.'
When the nights get too long
And I just can't hold on
"Krillin!" 18 called just as he was about to shut the door.

"Krillin, help me!" she called, and he entered again, shutting the door behind him.

"18!" Krillin whispered hoarsely. 18's eyes shot open and she flung herself into his arms, crying hysterically.

"It was horrible," she sobbed into his shoulder, completely unaware of what she was doing. "It was Cell…he absorbed me all over again!"
When the world wants too much
And it feels cold and out of touch
"Shh, shh," Krillin soothed as if she were a child. "It was a nightmare…only a nightmare."
With a shuddering sigh, 18 fell back onto the pillows. She was shaking visibly, the bed sheets twitching.
But an unexpected kiss changed that.
It's a beautiful place
When you kiss my face
"I'll stay here for awhile," he told her softly.
To his surprise, 18 didn't object.

"Stay here," she whispered.

"Stay here forever."

Krillin fell asleep beside 18 that night, their hearts beating together.
"And that's how your father and I got together," 18 finished telling Marron.
6-year-old Marron was asleep now. 18 kissed her daughter's forehead and ventured into the room she and Krillin shared.
She climbed into the bed beside him. They kissed each other good night and quietly fell asleep.
