Mostly I stick to FMA fanfiction because I like it better, but I was watching the InuYasha anime and decided to just quick write up a one shot.
Warnings: Suicide and Love
Starts during the episode where Kikyo is brought back to life by the oni.

"Kikyo you can't go on like this! You must return to Kagome's body!"
"You're saying you wish me to die, is that it, InuYasha?" Kikyo's dark, brazen eyes focused on the half-demon chasing her. InuYasha was frozen. He couldn't speak.
'No, that's not what I want! That's not it! The only thing I want is YOU, Kikyo! But not like this-not with ony half your soul! I want all of you, the way you were before! When you were ALIVE! NOT LIKE THIS!'
"So you want me to die." Kikyo hung her head, black tresses falling forward, shining like only the blackest, purest night.
"Then I will, InuYasha." She stepped forward suddenly, blood coursing from her shoulder in a waterfall, uncontrolled. As she leaned up to press a chaste kiss to InuYasha's lips, she also took hold of Tetsusaiga's hilt, pulling it back out of its sheath. InuYasha tried to stop her.
"No stop! You said you hated me!"
"It was only a trifling thing that oni-witch planted in me InuYasha. I forgave you before I died. I only wished to follow you to the grave where I could tell you that." She smiled and raised the sword, leveling it to her heart.
"But you are still alive, InuYasha. and I want you to continue to live. Truly live."
"Wait! Kikyo, you don't have to go!"
"Yes, I do. I want you to live as I cannot right now. Live purely and freely." And with those words, she let the blade into her body, not stopping to let it lodge in her chest, but pushing it all the way through until the hilt covered the wound that was releasing all of her blood onto the ground.
By the time InuYasha registered the peaceful look on her face, she was already dead.
Dead where she stood.
