Today started as a rainy tuesday. I was sitting in my room on the top floor of the Sanatorium. I usually stay there I rarely get to go outside, Gina told me it was bad for me to go outside to much. "I wonder if Kurt is going to come today. I would not want him to get soaked" I said " I think he will be fine miss Dia..." Gina said. A few minutes later a brown haired boy ran up the stairs panting, he was soaked from head to toe. "I am sorry I am late" The brown haired boy said under his breath. "Kurt, No it is fine." I said to him. "Good." He said finally catching his breath. He walked over to me slowly and sat down in the chair across from mine. "Thank you for coming today... you did not have to you know." I said. "No it is fine I wanted to come." He said happily "I thought you get lonely if no one came to see you.". "That is very thought full of you." I said turning my attention to the warm and wispy steam coming from the tea pot. "Do you want some tea Kurt?" I asked him. "Sure." He said smiling "Okay..." I said as I slowly picked up the tea pot. I started to pour it then it slipped out of my hands on to the floor with a splash of hot liquid. I screamed at the touch of the burning liquid on my skin. I was now drenched in burning liquid, now clenching my teeth together because of the pain . "Dia!?...are you okay?" Kurt said rushing over to my side. He quickly picked me up off the floor and set me gently on the be nearby . I suddenly realized what was happening when Gina ran up the stairs. "Miss Dia?!" She said in a worried tone. Gina ran over saw what happend. "I guess I will have to go get somethings to clean this up. Also I will go get Alex to treat your burns miss Dia! I will be right back!" She said as she ran down stairs. "Dia? Are you okay?" Kurt asked "Yes I think so." I said even though my burns still hurt. He let out a sigh of relief "Thank god." He said. "Does it hurt?" He said while examining my arms and other fulling exposed areas for any bad burns. "Well, I little..." I said. "Oh okay." He said staring at me "I am happy your okay". Then Gina and Alex came up the stairs "Don't worry Alex is here now." Gina sighed and walked over to the spilt tea and began to mop up the mess. "Kurt, may I ask you to temporarily leave?" Alex asked my friend. "Oh...sure, I will be down stairs when you are done. "Thank you." Alex said in response then he turned toward me "Miss Dia, would you please get up. " Okay." I said slipping out of my bed and standing next to it. He walked over to me and set bandages and other medical items on the bed and motioned for Gina to come over. "Gina, please bandage Miss Dia" he said. "Okay" she said running over to me leaving half the mess still there. "Take your dress of please, Miss Dia" She said undoing the back of my dress. I slipped my dress off and my faithful Gina got to work, It was about 30 minutes later when she was finished. "Done!" she said "I will go get Kurt. I will be right back Miss Dia." She said running down the stairs. I sat back on the bed and let out a sigh, "What a day this has been". Kurt walked up the stairs and over to me. "Hello, how did it go?" He said in a calm tone.
