Author's Corner - Since I love gore stories, I wanted to try my hand at one. :) Also, I rated this M just in case.
Summary - She sees humans, but no humanity.

end of the world
Minerva gasped for air as she threw a zombie off of herself. She bit her lip shakingly as she stared at her surroundings. There was nothing but gray skinned zombies, the blackened sky and the blood-stained grass.
There was no more magic in the world.
There was no more humanity.
She was alone in this horrid place.
She gripped the katana she held close by, staggering backwards as they closed in on her.
"No humans," Minerva whispered to herself, "There's no more humans."
She held the weapon closer to her body as her eyes widened, slightly traumatized. She raised the katana above her head.
"They're not humans anymore!" Minerva cried out slamming the sword into a zombie that had gotten close. She ripped out the sword, blood dripping from it and stabbed the zombie again. Another zombie came up and she turned towards it, and placed her cold hands on its neck and pulled, ripping the head off of the body and throwing it to the side.
She grinned like a maniac, "This..."
Minerva launched herself at another zombie and dug her finger nails into its chest. She pulled out the heart as blood sputtered out of its chest like a fountain.
She squeezed the unbeating heart as it exploded to small pieces in her hands. She dropped the fragments to the ground and stared at her bloody hands.
The female pulled out her katana from the other zombie and slashed one that came by, slicing its body in half. Its organs slid out, landing on the ground with a splat sound. She slammed her right heel onto some intestines laying on the grass, letting out a satisfied sigh as she enjoyed the feel of the body part under her foot, "This is..."
She lifted her hand to her mouth and licked the blood off of her fingers, leaving a clean trail from her wrist to her finger tips. She licked her lips as her eyes glinted dangerously.
"This is paradise!"
