It was a game. Everything with Chuck Bass was. So WHY!? was running through Serena van der Woodsen's mind as she drained the shot.
It was a Saturday night in June. Dan was gone with Jenny and Rufus to Vermont. Blair was in France and who knew where Nate was. Lily and Bart were in Cancun with Eric, because they didn't think he was old enough to stay home for two weeks with Serena and Chuck. Those were the reasons that Serena was playing the Friends drinking game with Chuck Bass.
The rules (Chuck's) were to take a shot anytime:
Chandler said something sarcastic
Monica did something OCD like
Rachel and/or Joey kissed someone
Phoebe said something that no one understood
Joey took three seconds to understand
Ross said something smart and confused the others
So as they watched the Friends marathon on TBS, they were getting drunk off their asses.
"Lets make this more fun." Chuck commented when a commercial came on.
"How?" Serena asked, carefully, knowing it would be something like 'Instead of shots, lets make out.'
"After each shot, confess something that no one knows." Chuck replied.
"Alright." If she wasn't so bored or so tipsy, she probably wouldn't have agreed.
Seconds later, the show came back on. Rachel kissed Ross, and Chuck and Serena swallowed shots.
"I am having fun…that's something no one knows." Serena laughed.
"I wish you weren't my stepsister." Chuck replied.
Out of all the things Serena thought Chuck would say, this surprised her.
"Why?" She asked looking at him confused.
"Because I've never been more attracted to anyone in my life." He answered taking another drink even though neither of them were paying attention to the show.
"I don't understand." Serena's confusion was easily read on her face, "You were crazy about Blair."
Chuck shook his head, "I liked her a lot, but she didn't amaze me the way you do. Serena, I like everything about you not just your beauty."
Her mouth was open. She had no idea what to say to that.
"Chuck-" She took a deep breath, "What about Dan?"
The question didn't make sense to Chuck until Serena grabbed his face, melting her lips to his.
Chuck pulled away slowly, "Serena, you're drunk."
"No, I know what I am doing…I can hold more liquor than any one we know." Serena replied, kissing him again.
Chuck couldn't reply because the next thing he knew, he was pinned down on the couch.
I called on the phone and she touched herself…
Serena pulled her head away, swearing. She propped her weight on one arm as the other reached into her pant pocket to grab her phone.
"Hello?" She barked into the phone as Chuck leaned up and was nibbling on her neck.
"S-"Blair's voice started, "I've been thinking about it a lot and I want Chuck back."
As Serena listened, Chuck had unbuttoned her shirt and was kissing the hollow at her throat.
"What do you mean?" Serena barely got the words out as Chuck unhooked her bra and moved his head lower.
"I mean that I was wrong to not want to be with Chuck and I am taking him back." Blair replied, "I think he deserves another chance."
Serena couldn't reply because Chuck had taken the phone.
"As happy as I am that you think you control my life, you're too late." Chuck sarcastically commented into the phone. He tossed it on the floor, not hearing Blair's "WHO?"
All Blair heard was Serena's light giggles as Chuck flipped their positions. She hung up when the throaty moans began.
THERE IS THAT...I've wrote some oneshots over Spring Break and that was a short C/S one inspired by the amazing band Say Anything...
