My back was pressed against the alley wall, the man; no MONSTER was a more fitting description, held a knife to my throat. I'd never been so scared in all my life than at that moment. I knew what he wanted from me, and it wasn't money. I tried screaming, but I couldn't because the knife was pressing into my windpipe. It was probably better that I didn't scream anyway, the monster would have slit my throat if I'd made a peep. Slowly, he slid my skirt down to around my knees. I didn't try and fight him, I had no prayer; he was so much bigger than me. How could I have been so stupid?! Mother had warned me about going through the alley at night, why had I not listened to her?? I was trying to save time, but instead I was about to lose something much more precious. He was going to steal my innocence and there was nothing I could do about it. Suddenly, a voice rang out from the mouth of the alley. "Let her go," an incredibly handsome man shouted at my attacker. He ran, almost flew, to where we stood. It was then, in the dim moonlight, that I got a glimpse at his face. He was handsome, there was no denying that. He had the appearance of the angels that were painted in Father's Bible. Father once said that everyone has a guardian angel, someone God sends from heaven to look after us. I wondered if this man was my guardian angels. But, he also looked fierce, more frightening than the man with a knife. His teeth were bared and his eyes were black as pitch. I wondered if he was an anget. l of death rather than my guardian angel like I'd first believed. He grabbed my attacker and pulled him away from me. Weakly, I sank down to the ground with relief, about to burst into tears. Then my savior looked at me. "RUN!!" he shouted at me. He looked as though he was trying to hold back something. I sprinted out of the alley. As I was about to exit, I heard the crunch of bones being broken, then the sound of sucking, as though someone was drinking deeply after a week of thirst. I didn't dare turn around to see what was going on, running until I reached the safety of home. I will never know who or what saved me that night, but I will be forever grateful for it.
I can't decide if i should make this a one shot or if i should write other would-be victim's reactions to our favorite vampire. What do you guys think? Let me know if you're interested in reading more about this subject by reviewing!
