Summary: After the winter war Ichigo and Tatsuki meet up in Soul Society, they then start a mentor apprentice partnership.

Ichigo Kurosaki woke up in his nice little cabin on the outskirts of the Rukongai to a strange but familiar Reiatsu. He built his cabin sometime after the Winter War. (An: they only won thanks to the fact that Ichigo had learned the Final Getsuga Tenshō.) Instead of losing his Shinigami powers like Tensa Zangetsu warned. He ended up depleting almost all of his reiatsu.
Ichigo went out to train and hopefully find that reiatsu from earlier. When he got to his favorite training grounds he was met with the site of someone else training there. Which normally would not seem so strange, except for the fact that the training grounds was in a secluded forest? Upon closer inspection of this person Ichigo found out that this person was female, and had short black hair. She was wearing the standard shinigami uniform. It was tattered, and torn around the forearms and legs. It was obvious to Ichigo from watching her train, that she was very gifted in Hakuda.
The whole time Ichigo was watching this girl he felt as if he knew her and has seen her moves before. While Ichigo was deep in thought about why this girl seemed familiar to him, he failed to realize that the girl had noticed his presence. She had immediately recognized him (An: who could forget his shocking orange hair even after they die) and went over to talk to him.
"Ichigo" she said "Ichigo" she said again a little louder still nothing. She then hit him rather hard in the stomach, but it was enough to knock him out of his stupor. "Ah, the hell"? "Now that I have your attention, what are you doing there just staring at me"? Ichigo: "..." She was starting to get pissed, that Ichigo hadn't responded to her presense and question.
Ichigo you need to respond or she's going to hit you again.
"Zangetsu is that who I think it is"? "She's supposed to be dead. Doesn't that mean she has no memories from her life"?
Normally yes.
Yeah king she seems pretty mad that 'ya' 'jus' gapin like a fish.
Shut up ya damnable hollow.
Ne' why ya' bein' so mean ta' me King. *sniffle, and puts hand on chest* that hurts right here King, right here. *Fake sobs*
Oh, boo-hoo poor you, you and I both know you don't have a heart. *Rolls eyes skyward*

"Ichigo stop spacing out and talk to me already."

"Ichigo say something right now before I hit you."

*BONK* "Ow, why'd you hit me Tatsuki"? Tatsuki: "because you didn't respond to me that's why." "Ichigo: oh, well uh, how did you find this place"? Tatsuki: "Well I was really just wandering and happened to find this spot, and it looked like it was a good place to train."
"Tatsuki: What about you, why are you here?" Ichigo: "uh, well I live in a cabin a bit away from here, and I came here to train." Tatsuki: "oh, well since you came all this way why don't we spare." "Ichigo: sure but I'm going to beat you this time." Tatsuki got a confident grin on her face. "Tatsuki: like you could ever beat me Ichigo."
