A Princess' Prayer

~A Princess' Prayer
Far away,
in a beautiful kingdom
lived a beautiful girl,
A pale, lonely princess
heart pure as the clouds,
eyes greener than grass,
hair golden like
the sun
Hands clasped together
in everlasting prayer
for the life of a world
Unable to love,
unable to feel
Emotions an illusion,
nothing is real
No one to trust
A world
on her shoulders
and tears in her eyes
and only a single word
in her mind
She prays for its life,
the one she loves,
"Zagato," she whispers.
She frees her heart,
her life is gone,
her final wish granted,
her final will done,
Emeraude of Cephiro,
no longer alone.
