A friend of mine on DA asked me to imagine what it would feel like to be turned into a Heartless, so I wrote this... piece xD Both the italic and "normal" parts belong to the same, anonymous character, but in my mind they sound slightly different since they embody different sides of his persona. The interpretation is really up to you, anyway.

Noise. Screams. Fear.
Hey, who took the light away? What's going on here?!!
Someone... Something is touching me.
What is this? What are you?!
Pain. More Screams. More Fear.
That's my voice! I scream for help, and no one comes...
Except for those creatures.
Help! Somebody help me! Please!
No.
What? What do you want from me?!?
They surround me.
GET AWAY FROM ME!
No.
I can't...
Fight.
Any more...
This darkness.
Is too strong!
And soon... Defeat.
NO! Get off my chest! Don't touch me!
I'm too weak to stop this...
Don't rip it off! It hurts!
And something shines and flees from me.
What was that?! HELP!
I lost it...
You bastard! What's happening to me? I can't see! I can't... even... move...
I'm falling.
Something's missing...
Into Darkness.
Where am I?! What's happening to me?!
Then I feel it.
MY HEART! GIVE MY HEART BACK!
No.
What am I? Where's my... heart?!
Now I need a new one.
Where am I?
Here.
Darkness. Everywhere. Feels nice.
Yes.
No fear. I like it. And it's stronger. Everything... feels stronger.
I want a heart.
What am I?
I'll steal it to someone.
How can I?
I am strong now.
Darkness is power!
You have power. Go for the hearts.
Hearts? Where?!
Feel it.
Yes... I can feel it. It's not far.
Open a corridor. Travel trough darkness.
A HEART! GIVE IT TO ME!
I attack. Darkness is power.
Fast. Strong. Dark.
And soon... The heart is mine!
But it slips away. Back into darkness.
Damn. Now I need another one.
