I've watched more of you than you can ever imagine. I watch you all age and grow and live and die. Perhaps your mortality is your only fault. Or maybe it's your only blessing? I may never know. Don't ask me. Don't ask the monster. The demon. The devil.
You make your mistakes and I let it pass it by. I'm not shouting at your sorry face for causing unnecessary wars. Do you see me throwing tantrums every time you arrest an innocent person? Overlook the fact that none of us are innocent. Your mistakes I put up with willfully. Yet somehow you always ream me for mine. So my finger slipped and pulled the trigger and now your wife is dead. Save your whining, fool. You all will never understand.
You are inferior to me because you will never understand. Not because when I cut you, you bleed. Not because when I hurt you, you cry. Not because you can't control your emotions. Not because of any of that. It is because you refuse to have common ground with me.
We think on the same levels, you and I.
We work the same way, you and I.
We are alike, you and I.
But you refuse to believe.
What makes me so different from you? I never die. So? Shoot me, I'll bleed. Hurt me, I may cry. Aggravate me and I'll lose my control. Ah, but you won't ever accept that, will you? Of course not. This is why I treat you like I do.
