"Mason! Mason, get the fuck up! Charlie is everywhere! Get the fuck up!"
He handed me an Ak-47.. (Chuckles) Had to use those more than a few times. Our helicopter had just crashed in the middle of a fucking jungle. Those guerrilla sons-a-bitches shot us straight out of the sky. It was fucking ridiculous. They swarmed us like a carcass in a lion's den. We killed so many... so many! Men, women, fucking children! ... It was our job. There was nothing else we could do, really. We got behind the wreckage of the Huey; fought for what seemed like hours. Then, suddenly, a damn plane came from nowhere. Napalm had never looked so beautiful. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. I saw a truck about thirteen yards away; we sprinted for it. Woods got in the back with an RPK. We tore out of there like a bat outta hell. I drove north for close to three hours when we saw a chopper fly across the jungle canopy. We slowed down, came to a stop. The helicopter landed in front of us and who else stepped out but Jacob Hayes, previous Green Beret sniper, current SOG operative. He wasn't on my team for long, and I didn't know him at the time, but he would prove to be an asset soon enough.
Chapter 1:
My new team.
They were my new teammates. I was told they were the best soldiers that lived, and I was proud to be on the team. Mason and Woods, luckiest bastards I ever met. We couldn't stand around for long. There was an army coming down the road, and they weren't looking to play. I had to get them on the chopper, and quick. My life was never the same from that moment...
