"I Would Never Break My Word"
A.N. I don't own Teen Titans; otherwise there would be more new episodes!
"Hey, guys! Get over here! I think she is waking up!" Beastboy commanded as he looked at Terra's pale face as pigment started to return to it.
"Terra, speak to me! Please tell me you're alright!" Beastboy screamed with worriment and excitement.
"Beastboy, where am I? Why are all the Titans here?" Terra asked "Why can't I sit up?"
"Terra, you're in the hospital, I brought you here as fast as I could once our fight with Slade was over. He knocked you unconscious and broke your leg...you bled and bled, even when I tied a tourniquet around it."
"Beastboy... how long have I been out for?"
"About two days. I have been by your side the whole time. The first night you had awful nightmares and murmured to me, 'Beastboy...don't leave me! Please!' I promised you that I would never dare leave you and you fell back into your dreams. I also promised you, Terra, that I loved you; I would never let you get hurt again, and that I would always be here for you."
They embrace each other in a loving hug that seems to last till the end of time
-A week and a half later-
"Titans, Go!" exclaimed Robin as he and the other Titans flung themselves into the fray with Slade. He had been trying to rob a technical shop for a mounted gamma pistol to add to his designs to train better apprentices.
Nearing the end of the battle, Robin was restrained between two pieces of entwined steel, Beastboy lay roughly fifteen-feet away from Slade, Starfire was unconscious under a layer of cars compacted together, Raven lay spread-eagle on the pavement, and Cyborg had had most of his circuits shut down, his normally red eye now a faded red. The only remaining Titan was Terra, in a choke-hold, dangling two or three feet off the ground, held by Slade.
"Join me Terra, under my control, you will reach your full potential!" enticed Slade.
Tears started to trickle down her eyes as she gave a quick glance to Beastboy who lay crumpled on the ground
Before Terra could respond in some harsh manor, Beastboy came charging in from no where in the form of a rhino, taking Slade by surprise and catching Terra lightly as she fell to the ground.
As Slade fled, Beastboy held Terra in his arms and whispered, "I made a promise to you that I would never let you get hurt again, and I meant it."
