DISCLAMER- I do not own Naruto.

The sound of pure, crackling lightning erupted throughout the forest surrounding the Konoha training fields. The trees that bordered the area littered with holes, smoke rolling out the gaps. Just another day for Sasuke Uchiha. Sweat fell from the boy's brow as he looked over his hard days work. Still not good enough... He felt as though he was at his limit, Kakashi's warning flashed through his head once more. The power of the curse mark had proven to aid him... So long as he could control it. Even with the seal it seemed to grow stronger and stronger as time went on. Alone, hon could only manage at most three Chidori and with the power of the mark he could sucessfully use six. It was the pain that followed that was the problem. A harsh throbbing sensation suddenly flood through his entire body and with a loud yak a puddle of blood seemed to appear under him. He staggered when he attempted to stand, stumbling toward the nature trail that led back toward the village. He craved more... More power, more abilities... Less blood.

"NARUTOOOOO!" "SASUKEEEEEE!" The explosion that rocked all of Konoha had been caused by them. Former friends and rivals had become enemies. The bond they shared had yet to fade nonetheless, no matter how hard Uchiha attempted to deny it. They were linked by fate, and friendship. Years passed, new comrades made, new squads were formed, revelations made...

The blood the Hokage was spilled, Danzo was killed, and at the same time, Sasuke's heart had hardened. Spiraling into the darkness that was rapidly consuming him a sudden image flashed through his mind... The image of Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi. His former team... "Arghhhh!" Suddenly that same feeling from the mark that used to curse him erupted through his body... He hadn't the slightest idea as to why. His brother had removed it during their battle... What was this feeling? "Sasuke?..." He turned his head, his red Sharingan eyes burning in pain. "We're ready... We'll start toward the Leaf tomorrow at dawn." With a brief nod the boy looked out into the waterfall that served as the battleground for the confrontation between his former rival and himself. He spoke not one word... His mind still picturing his team... Trapped in the past...

I hope you guys enjoyed. Took me a couple of hours and it was fairly simple. Just felt like I should've given Sasuke some spotlight. We never really saw what he did alone. If you guys enjoyed it enough then I'll make it into a series. If not, oh well. xD
