The Golden Child
Once upon a time, in the far away land of Lovetopia lived a poor peddlar and his wife. For many years the peddler had used his time and money in fixing up an old cottage in which he, his wife, and their child , Emarald lived. Finally, the peddlar had saved enough money to finish his home. Two nights after the house was complete a terrible storm came down from the heavens and blew the roof off his beautiful, new cottage. This made the peddler angry. The angrier he became the more the storm destroyed his home. Finally,the storm come to a stop and a beautiful lady came from the terrible purple storm clouds. She said,"I have come for one reason and one reason alone!" The peddlers face grew anxious and he cried,"Take what you want, just don't harm Emerald,please!"The lady just stiffled down an unheard laugh. "Why would I harm the child I am taking to marry my son?"Once more the peddlers face was alarmed. "Marry?",he asked, " Emmy, she's only 13!"."I plan " the lady commented," to take the beautiful child and keep her asleep until my son is the same age as Emerald . Then they will marry and rule over Litopia together."Before the peddler could protest the Lady dressed in light blue had taken Emeralds hand and they were in a room painted maroon.The lady said, "You will sleep 'till I come back!" Emmy was scared to death but she did as she was told and went to bed . It was not long and the lady said a few words and Emmy fall asleep. Year by year Emerald slept untill 2 years.Soon the womans son, Edward was also 13.The lady came in to the room Emmy had not changed at all."Wake" said the lady. Emmy who had slept all this time began to wake. She sat upstraight and began to twist at her golden hair." Mother, I am not tired anymore is it time for my chores?" She had forgotten all about the lady dressed in blue. She looked at the lady confused and opened her mouth to screan untill the most handsome boy she had ever seen walked into the room. She had seen him before somewhere in her dreams she began to get up but was stopped by the lady in blue. "Sit child and do not be afraid I will explain all."
Ok yeah I know typical fairy tale but stick with me. I made this story up.
