Mixed Emotions
"Nozumo!" yelled Misoka, running over to his fallen comrade's side. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm just a little…tired…" he mumbled before diving into unconsciousness,
"Akira! I'm going to take Nozumo back!" yelled Misoka over the wind.
"Got it!" he yelled before being blown over by a strong gust of wind, "Watch it Mitsuru! You wouldn't want to blow away the Teardrop along with us," he teased.
"Shut up you damn wolf!" was the only reply he got back. The tengu picked up the wind speed until it formed a swirling tornado. The wind swirled towards the members of Dawn's Venus, trying to steal the Teardrop out of their clutches. About to be picked up the members dropped the precious gem and ran for it. One lone figure was all that was left. Long hair whipped around and shadowed eyes glazed over with fear. She stood frozen to the spot, right in front of Mitsuru's creation, which had yet to cease to move.
"Keiko! Move!" yelled a small figure, running out form beneath a tree, to stop by the statuesque person.
"Mahiru! What the hell!" yelped Mitsuru. Mahiru continued to pull at Keiko's hand trying to get the other girl to move.
"C'mon Keiko! Move! It's coming!" she shouted over the wind, trying to get the other girl's attention.
"Mitsuru stop the tornado!" yelled Akira.
" I'm trying!" the sheen of sweat was fresh on his face, "It won't stop!"
Mahiru felt her feet leave the ground first. Next thing she knew she was soaring high above. Shill screams and shouts rang in her ears. After that all that was left was the black of unconsciousness.
"Stop Mitsuru! You're going to kill them."
"I'm trying…" he said through gritted teeth. Finally the wind died down to a strong gust. Two small, fragile bodies flung in different directions. Akira transformed and caught Keiko barely before she hit the ground. Mahiru soared through the air in an arc, before slamming into Mitsuru's hard body and arms.
"I'm...sorry…I just wanted…to…." she mumbled before fading into the darkness again.
"Stupid girl…" Mitsuru whispered before pulling her into a tight embrace.
