"19 years ago a war had begun, this war was known as the sorceress war, But this very garden sent some of its very own SeeD students to take care of it. Now for your next assignment you will be writing a essay on one of the warriors in the war, its doesn't matter what side they are on" Instructor Trepe ordered, thankfully the bell rang before we could get started. I packed my books up and began to walk out of the classroom, I ran into my Friend Ryuka a small smile grew on my face as I seen him. He wore his long brow hair in a low ponytail, his usual brown cowboy hat and coat and had his shotblade resting on his shoulder.
I guess I should take some time to explain what a shotblade is. After the war had ended everyone wanted Gunblades, it became somewhat of a fashion statement. But Ryuka, being the young creator he is wanted something different but still powerful. So he made a Shotblade by combining and ordinary gunblade with his shotgun. The Shotblade was Ryukas pride and joy and he made sure he showed it off any chance he got.
"Hey Kik" He smiled as he spoke, which also made me smile.
"Hey Kinneas, so who are you doing you assignment on?" I asked slighty curious "Well I herd everyone else talking about Squall and Rinoa...but I Like the sound of Edea or Fujin" He said "Oh Cool! I was thinking Rajin for me" I laughed, I knew his answer would be similar to mine, it always was.
We wandered down to the cafeteria and grabbed some lunch, then made our way over to the library to meet up with the rest of our 'crew'. Taking a seat at it our usual table I looked around, the library was unusually empty and none of our friends where there. I turned to Ryuka to see if he had noticed anything.
"Hey Kinneas, Where is everybody?
He just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders.
"Maybe there getting lectured about puppies by my mom" He chuckled lightly, knowing that if Selphie had the chance she probably would lecture her class about puppies. I laughed along with him, although I could feel my cheeks heating up, just standing near him made my heart beat a million miles an hour, looking down I picked up the book left on the table and smiled.
"The Sorceress's War" I read aloud looking over at Ryuka with a laugh, He went to speak but was silenced by my cousin Elina Leonheart, The daughter of Squall and Rinoa who had at that point had shoved screwed up paper into his mouth and looked at me with a bright smile.
"Meet me down at the lab... I have something to show you!" She sang as she walked away, It was unusual for Elina to be so cheerful and to be away from the lab for more than 5 minutes, looking over at Ryuka I smiled as he pulled the paper out of his mouth, standing up we both began to pack our things away and head out of the library, letting myself trail behind Ryuka I smiled before charging at him.
"Piggy Back!" I Called out as I jumped onto his back and wrapped my arms around his neck cuddling into the back of his head, He laughed and pretend to slip, almost dropping me a number of times.
