"Eli, they aren't that bad. In fact, they're really good!" Clare stood outside his front door, showcasing the two movies she brought over for them to watch. Eli stepped aside for Clare to come in, and grabbed one of the movies from her hands. He turned it around, sized it up, and gave it back to her.
"I don't know Clare. Talking lions just aren't my style."
"Eli!" Clare said, whining. "The new one won't be in theaters for much longer, and I really want to see it. You don't expect me to go alone, do you?" Eli smiled. Clare made her way to the DVD player. "What if we sit down, start the first one, and if you aren't interested after an hour we can watch a different movie." Eli plopped down on the couch.
Clare closed the DVD tray, and grabbed the remote. She sat down next to Eli, and cuddled into his chest. Eli kissed her temple.

The credits were rolling, and Eli was on the edge of the couch. He hopped up off of the couch, and grabbed his keys. "Clare, grab your coat. We're going to the movies."
Clare laughed. "Ok Eli, and if you still are this excited when we get back, I can let you borrow the books."
Eli started Morty, and made sure he had his wallet. He turned toward Clare, and grabbed her hand. He smirked. "For Narnia."
"And for Aslan." Clare finished for him.
Ok, really cheesy, possibly stupid. I don't care. I FINALLY saw Voyage of the Dawn Treader today, and I LOVED it! I know that the books are heavily influenced by Christianity, so I figured they would be up Clare's alley. I also thought that movies were a good idea for a date…so…cheesy, corny, possibly stupid fanfiction ensued.
Please REVIEW! Thank you!
