A/N: So I feel really bad that I missed Sasunaru day (it was the same day my friends sweet sixteen party was and I could not miss it!) but I still wanted to write a story but PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF ITS. . . WELL NOT TO GOOD! I wrote it real quick so I could get it up, hope you like it!

I guess you could say it happened almost instantly. That feeling you get in your heart when you see that one person. It was like a fire was lit and kerosene was added to the flame and it was let lose to keep on burning.

I let it burn.

He was like the sun that never set but always rose, never leaving me in the dark. He told me once that I was his moon, always watching over him from day to night. I remember the look he had when he said that to me, like it was the only truth he believed in.

I never understood why he could love me like I loved him. His never ending smile and energy could draw anyone in with just a glance. So why did he choose me?

"Because you understand that I'm not always smiling all the time…" he said taking my hands into his.

"Sasuke…Sasuke knows that even now, I'm still sad and angry with lots of people who threw me aside"

I hated talking about this, seeing his face fall was like witnessing an angel cry—it just wasn't right.

Naruto huffed "But it makes me mad to see people take pity on me! I don't need that I just needed someone…"

The kiss was small, the kiss was short, and it wasn't something that melted your insides into sweet bliss. The kiss was like being home, being safe from the things that wanted to watch you fall. It was so much more than a "melting on the inside" kind of feeling.

"Someone...who believed" I finished noticing I had pulled him into my arms without thinking when I released him. He looked a little upset with me for interrupting him, but the small smile playing on his lips gave him away for a very happy individual.

"Do you understand now? Why the moon can be seen no matter if it's day or night" I guessed I looked a little confused because he laughed slightly nudging his nose to mine.

"The sun can only be seen during the day, then it disappears from people's site and they don't really think about where it went or what it's doing, they only assume that it's shining brightly like always."

He gave me a peck on the lips obviously happy about something I didn't know about yet "The moon on the other hand…is always with the sun, staying close by incase the sun cant shine as brightly as before. The moon is the only creature the sun can truly believe in to stay by its side, day or night." he kissed me soft and light, like a feather falling on snow as he smiled into my lips.

So I'm like the moon? Always by the suns side, to receive and give his shine whenever he felt lonely or sad. Always making the sun happy and there for making itself happy.

Ya, I can live with that
