Alex was going to the trapeze swings to practice when he heard a dreadful cry for help. He turned to see who was making the noise. It was poor Stefano. He was stuck on the tight rope. Melman and Gloria were no where to be seen so Alex ran to the rescue. He had to think of a plan and quick. So he ran back to the trapeze swings and jumped to a swing and swung to the tight rope. He trusted his jump and caught the tight rope. Alex did a flip and stopped after he got closer to Stefano. " Don't worry Stefano i got you. " Alex said. " Please-a hurry! " Stefano replied. Everyone happened to notice this and crowed around the tight rope. " Alex what are you doing? " Gia yelled. " What does it look like? I saving Stefano! " Alex yelled back.
Gia thought for a minute. ' Well, Alex is going to need a way to get down from the tight rope, soooo? ' she then thought of an idea. " Marty! " She said. Marty quickly ran to her. " What is it Gia? " " I need you to shoot yourself out from cannon and catch Alex and Stefano, but only on my signal, ok? " " Got it..." Gia ran to the trapeze swings to get ready. " Alex! " " What Gia? " " On my signal jump! " " Ok?! "
Alex didn't know what Gia was planning but went along with it.
Marty was ready and waiting for Gia's signal.
Gia knew the two were both ready and gave them the signal. Alex jumped with Stefano in his grip, and Marty was shot out of the cannon. Then as Gia had planned Marty caught Alex and Stefano, and was headed under the trapeze swings. Gia jumped and caught the swings with her feet. She then held out her arms grabbed Marty's hooves.
Alex looked at Gia with a smile of relief.
Stefano was clinging on to Alex and shaking.
When Gia knew they were completely over the net she let go and they all landed safely bouncing up and down.
They got off the net. Stefano still clinging on Alex. " You can let me go now Stefano. "
Alex said. " Ok-a... " Then Stefano let go waddling away. Marty went to calm Stefano.
" That was pretty brave of you saving Stefano... " Gia said
" Are you kidding me? That was pretty brave and smart of you to come up with a plan not knowing it would work and it end up working anyways! That was AMAZING! "
Gia laughed a bit. She loved how Alex got excited for things she did that were cool. While Alex was still talking about how awesome Gia was, She leaned in and kissed Alex passionately. Alex looked stunned. He was not expecting that to happen. Though it would be typical since Gia was his girlfriend. " Wow, you really know how to shut someone up. " Alex said then laughed. Gia laughed too. Gia reach for Alex's hand. When she got it they both held hands.( or paws..) They both walked over to Stefano and Marty. " Hey, Stefano what got you on the tight rope anyways? " Alex asked.
" Oh, well i-a saw a bird-a and the-a bird looked helpless so i-a took action and-a tried to save it-a, but when i-a got closer to it the-a bird flew away-a. " Stefano finished. " What? You mean we did all of that just to save you just becau- " " You know Stefano birds can fly so you don't have to save them from heights, ok? '' Gia interrupted Alex. " Ok-a Gia. " Stefano replied.
Alex didn't seem too happy about the situation. So Gia decided to cheer him up.
" Alex how about we go and practice. "
" Practice what? "
" What else? Trapeze Americano! " Gia grabbed Alex's paw and they ran off to practice their act.
