Lacy here. Alright, so I don't know about the rest of you but the premiere of SGU pissed me off. How on Earth, or Destiny, can anyone kill a baby that hasn't even been born yet? How? It's not right so I'm fixing it. Yes, I will also be fixing it in Grace but I can't wait till I get there. Have fun, not fitting.
Disclaimer: Obviously the baby is mine since I'm letting her live!

Matt looked at Camile, fearing the worst as the woman paused. "Camile, what about the baby?"
Camile motioned to the bed nearest to TJ's. "She's alive and stable."
Matt moved over to the little girl. "She's small."
Camile crossed her arms. "Born premature but she's a fighter."
Matt smiled. "Just like her parents." he looked at Greer. "Let's get them out of here."

"Colonel," Matt got Everett's attention as the man made to leave the gate room. "there's something else."
Everett faced him. "What?"
Matt sighed. "Because of TJ getting shot, the baby had to be delivered early."
Matt watched the color drain from Everett's face.
"But, it wasn't time." Everett said.
Matt nodded. "I know."
Everett cleared his throat. "Are they okay?"
Matt nodded again. "They're both fine. The baby's a little small but strong and stable." he smiled. "You have a daughter, sir."
Everett smiled. "Well, if you'll excuse me Lt. I have to go see my family."

TJ laid in her infirmary bed, listening to the baby breathe softly beside her. She was carefully laying on her side, her little girl taking up the space she'd made.
"TJ,"
TJ turned her head and saw Everett smiling at her and their daughter.
"Hey, you're okay." she said softly.
Everett walked over to them. "I am and so are you." he moved over to the side of TJ's bed where the baby was. "You both are. You have no idea how happy I am to see that."
TJ smiled. "I have an idea. Wanna hold her?"
Everett nodded. "Of course." he leaned down and carefully lifted the baby into his arms. TJ sat up carefully and made room for Everett to sit next to her, which he gladly did. "Wow, look what we did Tamara."
TJ nodded, resting her head against Everett's arm. "Yeah, look what we did."
"Does she have a name?" Everett asked.
TJ shook her head. "I wanted to wait for you. At least for the first name. I was hoping she could have my mom's name, Carmon, for a middle name."
Everett smiled. "I like that. Okay, what goes with Carmon?" he took in his daughter's tiny fists and her round face as he thought. It didn't take long. "Faith. Faith Carmon,"
"Young." TJ finished. "Faith Carmon Young."

Made myself cry writing this but it was needed. Desperately needed. I still don't understand how the writers could do that. But anyway, let me know what you think, flame policy stands and thanks for reading.
