Dear Diary
Today was fun. Smithies let us have the day off from Veritas. Hunter tried to teach us how to ride a unicycle. I did pretty well, but after Tusia and Sheldon crashed (again), we decided to call it a day. We agreed to meet up for a swim in the lake. We headed back to the huts to get changed. A few minutes later, Tusia and I were waiting by the lake for the boys. Suddenly, I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. Tusia must have felt it too because she flipped the person behind her into the water. Me, Hunter (who was standing behind me), and especially Sheldon, who was flipped, were shocked; after Tusia realised what she did, she tried to apologise to Sheldon, only to be splashed. A splash war ensued between them. Hunter and I laughed at the scene, then I realised just how close we were. He must have too, because he took a step away. My cheeks burned with embarrassment and so were his.
You see, the thing about Hunter is, well, I have a crush on him, and it is not just a small crush. It's a full-on, girly crush (not that that's bad). I love everything about him, from his constant 'slight hunger' to his skills with numbers. I just hope he likes me back.
Anyway, back to today. Tusia and Sheldon noticed Hunter and I were blushing and they splashed us. Splash war II ensued, this time Tusia and Sheldon vs. Hunter and me. So that was how we passed the day. We had tea then went back to the huts. Tomorrow it's back to Veritas work. Good night
