"Come at me! I, Red Riding Hood challenge you, oh wolf!"
"But mother, whenever I go to Grandma's is SO boring! Can't you tell her I'm sick?" I begged my mother.
"No Red, you're going to Grandma's so stop asking to get out of it." My mother told me firmly. "Besides, she's lonely without Grandpa." I sighed heavily, dropping my shoulders. "Here, I'd like for you to take this basket of bread and soups to her." I glumly took the basket, put on my shoes and walked out the door.
As I walked down the dirt road I listened to the things around me, birds... I could hear the dirt crunching under my boots, this was so very, very boring.
A twig snaps in the forest alongside the road, I look over, trying to see through the trees, "Hello?" I called out. No reply. I must've been hearing things. Again...
By the time I FINALLY got to grandma's I knocked on the door and poked my head inside, Grandma came over and hugged me. After a while of her just standing there, with her arms around me I shoved back, she was looking behind me like she'd seen a ghost.
"Red go inside." She whispers. I turn around and see a wolf standing in the drive way, snarling at us. Its lips raised, showing it's dirty teeth, the fur on it's back stood up high. I dropped the bag for Grandma.
"No Grandma... You go inside." I tell her. Slowly stepping off the porch, I reach down and grab the chainsaw the hands that helped Grandma had left. I keep an eye on the wolf the whole time.
"Come at me! I Red Riding Hood challenge you, oh wolf!"
"Red no!" I hear Grandma say from behind me. I ignored her protests and walked to the wolf, starting the chainsaw. As it buzzed to life the wolf lunged. It latched its strong jaws right onto my right leg, I could feel its teeth ripping into my flesh. I felt it's teeth slam into the bone of my leg. I scream in pain. I use all my strength to stay upright, I lift the chainsaw to slam it upon the wolf. But before I could do so the wolf knocks me over, biting into my shoulder. I close my eyes tightly, gripping the chainsaw and pulling it, I thrust it into the wolf. I hear it scream out in pain. I get up slightly and pull the chainsaw against the wolf's body...
THE END.
