Sirius's Talk

Remus leaned in closer and pressed his lips to hers, and she deepened the kiss with enthusiasm. What seemed like hours went by, even though it was really barely a minute.
"Wait, Tonks, we can't be together," Remus gasped. "We can't do this—"
"You're darned well right you can't!" a voice came from the hall outside the drawing room. They both turned to look. Sirius came in wearing an expression of pure anger. Then it changed suddenly to matter-of-fact-ness as he crossed his arms. "At least not until I go over the proper precautions with both of you."
Tonks's face blanched and then went beet red, and Remus chuckled. "Sirius, really, we're adults. We already know."
Just then Harry paused outside in the hall to, apparently, read a particularly interesting article in his copy of the Daily Prophet.
"Now, now Remus. That's exactly what James and Lily said, and we all know how much trouble that's gotten us into." Sirius rolled his eyes, and they all stared pointedly through the door. Harry seemed to sense their eyes on him.
"What!" He looked at the ground, folded his newspaper again and stalked away. Remus and Tonks both nodded.
"Yeah…"
"I guess so…"
"Now, on to the basics. First of all, in order to prevent…….."
