This is my second SVU fanfic. I like it better than my first one, which had dialogue and actions that were slightly out of character. It's just a tiny fic-let and I don't think I'll add anymore. G.N.

"You know George, your profession amazes me. You have the ability to see right through people," Olivia paused. "Sometimes I'm scared that you can see right through me."

George Huang smiled. "You Detective Benson... you are more complicated to read than most people. You intrigue me."

"And also, you are the keeper of millions of people's dark secrets. Yet I'm sure you have several of your own."

"You're making my job seem more poetic than it really is, Olivia," Huang chuckled.

"I want to thank you for asking me out tonight," Olivia said as she ran her finger around the rim of her martini glass. "I really needed a break from Elliot."

"I could tell. I thought you were about to kill him."

"I mean, I love the guy, but when something's going on at home he just can't forget about it. His family's nice and all but I rather not get involved."

"You just said that you loved him. Is there anything going on between you two?" George felt the psychiatrist in him start to kick in. He was just naturally inquisitive.

"No. I mean not anymore," Olivia struggled to find the right words. "I mean, we kissed once, but we were both pretty drunk and we both felt awful afterwards."

George looked at Olivia with an expression that silently said 'Is that all?'

"Look," Olivia said much louder. "Elliot is a married man. He has kids for God's sake!" Olivia then realized she was being loud so she quieted down to a whisper. "It's not right that I feel this way about him."

There was silence as Huang just smiled at Olivia. He couldn't help but feel that he accomplished something.

"Damn George," Olivia said in a surprised tone. "You can see right through me."

"Everyone's a little transparent," George Huang replied with a smirk.
