The sun was shining brightly down in the forest. New-leaf had just arrived and Squirrelflight had been made a warrior 5 month ago. She looked and saw Brambleclaw sitting by the fresh kill pile. Squirrelflight liked Brambleclaw a lot. She walked over to him.
"Hey, can I sit with you," questioned Squirrelflight.
"Um sure," Brambleclaw replied awkwardly.
They both sat there quietly and still.
"Maybe, we can go hunting?" Wondered Squirrelflight.
"Yeah, that would be a great idea!," Brambleclaw answered happily.
The two cats got up and went out of the entrance. A nice breath flew across the air. The smell of prey was fresh and smelled so good to Squirrelflight.
"There is a lot of prey today," said Squirrelflight.
"There is," agreed Brambleclaw, "we'll be able to bring a lot of prey for the clan.
Out of nowhere, Squirrelflight saw a mouse scrambling in the bushes. It twitched its whiskers. Squirrelflight started to stalk the mouse. She slowly glided near the mouse and jumped and dug her claws in the mouse's back.
"Good catch," purred Brambleclaw.
"Thanks," Squirrelflight meowed proudly.
They both gazed at each other but then went back to hunting. Brambleclaw saw bird. He slowly climbed up the tree and caught the bird.
"Yes I caught it!" Brambleclaw exclaimed.
They kept on hunting and hunting. There was so much prey out there. Brambleclaw even caught a nice plump mouse and Squirrelflight caught a huge bird. By the time they were done hunting Squirrelflight had 5 mice, 2 shrews, and 3 birds. Brambleclaw had 4 mice, 4shrews, and 3 birds.
"Hey Squirrelflight. Can I talk to you?" asked Brambleclaw.
"Sure," replied Squirrelflight.
"I love you," admitted Brambleclaw.
"I love you too," Squirrelflight meowed nervously.
"I want to be your mate," explained Brambleclaw.
"So do I," agreed Squirrelflight.
They started to lick each other. Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight were having a lot of fun. After a while Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight were finally mates.
"Let's go home," decided Brambleclaw.
Squirrelflight nodded her head. The two mates walked towards the camp with there two bodies brushing against eahother.
