5 Times Sam wished she had dyed her hair
Keeping a low profile in amongst the crowded market place was not an option. People were continually stopping and staring at her. Sam was starting to get annoyed. Couldn't they just simply get something to eat without becoming a main attraction?
Jack heard them whispering about hair the colour of the sun and ducked his head to hide a grin. Everyone knew how much Carter lurved attention, although the blush was most becoming. He had to draw the line when they started to take photos though.
Maybe holidaying in Thailand hadn't been such a good idea after all.

"Captain, you might like to ugh, . . . . ugh," Daniel whispered making combing gestures next to his head.
Sam acknowledged the prompt with a tight smile and quickly hid the offending locks beneath her beanie. She hoped that no one else had noticed her slip. She needed to make a good impression after all.

"That one!" The commanding voice boomed into the cavern. "The one with the hair of gold. She will be my queen."
Sam suppressed a sigh. Why do they always want the blondes?

Ducking for cover in the undergrowth, Teal'c quickly scanned his team mates. They were well concealed and would be able to confuse their pursuers. His gaze paused thoughtfully on the blonde thatch of hair to his right.
Teal'c shifted his weight slightly, bringing the Major's eyes to his in a flash. He indicated the discarded hat with his chin. Sam smoothly replaced it, raising her eyes to the Jaffa again. A barely perceptible nod indicated his approval.

'Dumb blonde! Huh! I'll give you dumb blonde McKay!' Sam huffed around her lab, furious at herself for letting the comment get under her skin. She sat down with an exasperated sigh. Why did she even let people like McKay get to her?
All her life she had had to prove her worth, show what she could do. People always looked and saw what? A girl? A blonde? Why couldn't they see past the outside and let her accomplishments stand for themselves? Why was her physical appearance such a hindrance? Urgh!
Maybe it was time for a new look . . . .
