My name is Rey Kenobi I live with grandfather Ben after my mom left me. I was only 9 when my dad died but he was the most amazing person you would ever meet. He had this ability to use force you see he was what they once called a Jedi. Jedi….. There all excitant now thanks to the first order. Grandfather and I live on a planet called Jakku. The only way to survive is to savage parts from the wreckages.
"Rey, Rey it's time to wake up" grandfather says
"Ok" getting up has always been a struggle since the visions started up again. Grandpa says I must block them out unless we want to be found.
"Any visions today?"
"No, just a haunting feeling" I reply shivering
"good, lets get started shall we?" We walk outside and get on the speeder I built with my own hands. Grandpa hate this thing for some reason I asked him why one day and all he did was shakes his head.
"Ok this looks like a good spot to start." I say minutes go into hours. Its time to head back I say to grandpa. We head back to the speeder and next thing I know we are scrubbing the parts and going to Unkar Plutt for hopefully our next meal.
"Two half portions" The creature glares and lays out the food. I glare and take the food and head to grandpa who is by the speeder.
The day roles on and its finally time. Training is my favorite part of the day. I get out grandfather's lightsaber and he says not today Rey I can feel something coming. I sigh and put the lightsaber in the highest drawer on the right. Then I hear this beeping sound of scream. I say to grandpa I'll be back grabbing my staff running out the door. I see Teedo with a net over a bb-8 unit.
"Let it go!" I yell in his language cutting the ropes that are on top of the bb-8 unit. He yells back and shouts "I'll let Unkar Plutt know of what you've done." I stand up pointing "No you won't." Teedo just huffs and lets go of the net muttering.
"Shhhh" I shush the droid "That's just Teedo, he just wants you for parts… He has no respect for anyone." I look down
"Where do you come from?" Beep Boop the droid calls back.
"Classified really. Well Nima outpost is that way. See you." as I point walking off.
"No you cannot follow me. Town Is that way" Pointing again.
"Rey, The droid can come with us if it needs to" Grandpa says. All I do is nod and sigh.
MEANWHILE
"I had no idea we had the most handsome resistance piolet on board. Are comfortable Handsome?" A older lady with red lips and brown hair braided down replied with a sickening smirk.
"No Not really." Poe replies blood dripping down his face.
"I'm impressed. Nobody has been able to get out of you what you did with the map." The lady bent down lower shaking my face with her gloved hand.
"Maybe you should rethink you technique creepy dark lady." Poe spits in her face. A dark laugh comes out of the lady and she hisses "You shouldn't done that" She puts one gloved hand up near my head. Poe's screams echo through the halls.
"I got what I need thanks handsome. Oh and my names not creepy dark lady. Its Medusa." As she exits the room. "The map is in a bb unit on Jakku."
