The Sword

by Ireth Hollow

The sword slid into his skin, cutting its way more softly he thought it would. It was like a caress, a lovely hand touching him, trying to reach his true self. And it pulled him out of the numb prison where Sebastian had held him for so long. At first, Sebastian's Jace didn't want to give up, but there was nothing he could do: Heaven was calling his name, awaking his blood, releasing his soul.

Then the golden fire came and there was nothing else but Clary's eyes, stuck to his, torn of pain, love and courage. I love you, he wanted to say, but darkness was already into him.

A/N: There's no goal here. It's just me missing fandom.
