"Luma, are you sure your mother is around here? These planets look really bad..." Rosalina looked down at a war torn planet. It was a desert planet, with volcanoes. Any sign of life had been destroyed. "Well, I'm gonna regret this," Rosalina said as she steered the observatory towards the planet. The space princess was still new to flying, so she damaged the ship a little during entry. "Oh, well," She sighed. "Nothing that can't be fixed." After some quick repairs, she took out a radar and turned it on. On the screen was a Luma tracking device. "See Luma, I told you, there's nothing- wait, what's that?" A Purple dot appeared on the screen. Rosalina had programmed it to only search for lumas, but could something else have been picked up?
Rosalina and the Luma were running towards the dot. Whatever it was, It's DNA must be close enough to the Lumas that the radar could pick it up. After a few minutes, something was in sight. A small, navy blue puffball in full armor was sitting next to a silver star shaped ship. He looked like he was in pain. "Hey! Need any Help over there?" Rosalina Called out.
"Yes, I'm in pain and my ship is broken!" The puffball replied.
Rosalina rushed over. Good thing I brought the first aid kit, she thought. Kneeling down next to the puffball, she asked "So, what's wrong?"
"My arm is broken and I have a gash on my other arm."
"Ok, that can be fixed." She pulled out some bandages and disinfectant. "This may sting a little," she said before rubbing some disinfectant on his arm. The puffball cringed. "Trust me... I've been through worse pain..."
Rosalina wrapped up his arms in bandages. "There. You just need to replace the one on the left occasionally."
"Thank You. Is there any way I could repay you, Miss..."
"Rosalina. And you can repay me by telling me your name."
"My name? Oh, it's Meta Knight. Tell me, Rosalina, Can you fix a ship?"
"Yes, I can! you wait here while I go get my tools." She ran off, leaving the Luma with Meta Knight. After about 15 minutes, she came back with a stereotypical red toolbox. "Ok, I'm ready," she said, going straight to the ship.
"Rosalina, why did you leave your planet? Did Nightmare and his troops invade it?"
"Nightmare? Who's that?"
"Hmm, It seems you come from a planet that hasn't been affected by war..."
"War? What war?"
"A Long time ago, a being named Nightmare started to take over the universe. He created monsters to invade planets, and seize control of them. I was one of these monsters, but I stole this ship and ran away, in hope of being a star warrior- One of the many who fight to keep us free. I joined in, and during my last battle, i gained those wounds and my ship broke."
"Oh, well, I left Earth because I met a Luma- this little guy," She pointed over to the Luma, "And he wanted me to help him find his mother,"
"Interesting. Have you considered becoming their mother? You did an excellent job on the bandages..."
"No, I haven't," She replied. "And your ship is done..."
"Alright, I better get going. Stay safe, Miss. Although, I have a feeling we're going to meet again..."
"Goodbye!" Rosalina waved as Meta Knight's Starship took off. She walked back to the observatory and set bck off on her quest to find the Luma's mother.
Eventually, The events of Super Mario Galaxy and Kirby! Right Back at Ya! would take place and the two would meet again at the Smash Brothers tournament.
Yay! I did it! I wrote the story of how Meta and Rosie met! Oh, and i prefer the english dub of Kirby. Dedede and Escargoon were awesome. Hope you enjoyed!
