Arwen wandered through the trees of Loth Lorien. She sighed. Her grief was just too painful. She knew she was fading husband had died. Her one true love. Her fëa mate. The one she gave everything up including her immortality to be with him.

She knew her marriage with him would be brief. But still they relish what little time they had together. Her heart ached when Estel became bent with old age. Soon he will leave me, she had thought. When he had finally lain down, her heart sank. It was coming. Death was after his death, she had wept furiously.

She missed her adar and her brothers who had left years before. She missed her naneth. She could never be with them until Arda was remade. She love them so but not enough to have joined them in the West. In Valinor. Where all her family and friends reside.

Then she thought of her children. She left them after her husband's death. She missed them dearly. She had said farewell to Eldarion and her daughters and all she had loved before she left Minas Tirith. She did not want them to see her anguish. All who saw her thought she became cold and grey as nightfall in winter that comes without a star.

She went to the land of Lórien. Her grandparents had left many years ago. The land was ever silent. There she dwelt alone under the fading trees until winter came.

There at last when the mallorn-leaves were falling, but spring had not yet come, she laid herself to rest upon Cerin Amroth; and there is her green grave until the world is days of her life were utterly forgotten by men that come after. And Elanor and Niphredil bloom no more east of the Sea.

Arwen Undomiel, descendant of Luthien Tinuviel. The Evenstar of her people was now gone forever.
