Death Eaters
She was so unbelievably beautiful, she was everything Igor Karkaroff wanted, and here she lay beside him, fast asleep. She had came to him in the middle of the night, distraught and in total despair. Ever since Lucius had been put in Azkaban she had been slowly falling apart, and now with Draco back at school for his sixth year she was alone. That's why she had come to him, and he was glad she had. If she hadn't have woke him up in the middle of the night, she wouldn't have been here, safe and warm. She looked so peaceful, her beautiful blonde hair framing her face and resting on her shoulders and pillow. He reached out and ran his fingers through it gently, so as not to wake her. He watched her pale lips part with a sigh, but she still slept.
To him she was a flawless work of art. He'd always thought this, ever since the day he met her and Lucius. He did not feel proud of the position he had been put in, after all Narcissa Malfoy was a married woman. Lucius Malfoy was a man you would not want to upset, he was now on very good terms with the Dark Lord again and Igor Karkaroff was most certainly not. Lucius Malfoy appeared flawless just like Narcissa, they both possessed that unmistakable grace that could only belong to a Malfoy, this gift had also been passed onto their son Draco. They all had a perfect creamy-white complexion and silky blonde hair that angels would envy. Igor Karkaroff had none of these qualities, he was harsh, dark and rough around the edges. Every feature was at a sharp and unflattering angle, that's what he thought anyway.
So why was she here with him now? She could have chosen anyone, but it was him. Maybe it was because he was the closest. Or maybe it was because he knew Narcissa's and Lucius' relationship better than the rest.
In his opinion, she was too good for Lucius. He neglects her, and it made him furious. If he had Narcissa for a wife he'd do his best by her. He would not allow himself to be shut away in Azkaban like Lucius had. He wish he could have her to himself. He'd make everything right again and treat her with the respect she craved. A beauty like this could not be ignored.
Even though he lay there with a woman that was not't his own he was a lucky man. She was here, and for that much he was grateful. And that is what made him feel like the luckiest man on earth. He was spending his last moments with the woman he loved like no other. In a few short hours she'd be gone and he'd be left to wait for his death. They were coming to seek their revenge on him and Narcissa would know nothing of what lay ahead for him.
The Death Eaters were coming for him.
