It's a hot but sunny day in Ancient Egypt and a young, handsome pharaoh sat at his throne. But on this day, he felt bored, for today was the day he was to head out and look for new servants, which he really wasn't looking forward to, especially since it was a mere fortnight before a grand festival. However…duty was duty. He stands and goes to fetch his horse from the stable.
Meanwhile, in the nearby village…
"Teana! Where are you?"
Young Teana, now a teenager, runs in hearing her father call her. "Here I am, papa!"
"There you are." Muhran, Teana's father, smiles at his daughter as he ruffles her hair making her giggle. "Teana, would you like to go to the palace?"
Teana gasps softly, giving a bright smile. "Oh, papa…you really mean that?" He nods. "Yes!"
"Then you may go. Just remember to be home before lunch, okay?"
"Yes, papa." She gives her father a hug before running out. Once she arrives at the palace grounds, she spots the pharaoh who looked to be about her age. Her heart skips a beat when she sees how handsome he is. "Ohh…" 'It's really him!'
He looks over from his horse at all the people kneeled and heads bowed. But one person, catches his attention – Teana. And like her, his heart skips a beat onsight. Smiling, he stops and slowly gets off his horse, going over to her. "Excuse me, miss…"
She looks up slowly, coming face-to-face with him and his deep violet eyes, blushing softly at how enchanting they seemed to be.
"What is your name?"
"T…teana, my pharaoh…"
"Teana…Such a beautiful name…" He then softly clears his throat, helping her to her feet. "Teana, I wish to ask…would you like to be my escort for tomorrow night's royal festival?"
