He was drinking a Green Russian, making Dominic sigh, knowing his amphibian friend was needing him.
"Maybe I should give Sneak to my parents.
They would be more better." he said.
"Constant don't think like that.
Sneaker adores you, I know.
It's also because of pre-school right?" he said.
"Yeah I wanna raise her as a thief but you know what the world is like.
But you're right." he replied.
He then placed a webbed finger to his mouth sig sling his friend to be quiet.
"Papa are you okay?" he heard a soft voice ask.
They saw Sneaker up in her night gown with her stuffed frog in her arms as they had woken her up.
"I'm fine sweetie but you need your rest." Constantine said picking her up.
He was carrying her to her room which was warm and inviting lime a child's room should but it made a half smile cross his face as Sneaker was on his lap.
"You miss Mommy huh?
It wasn't your fault or mine Little Thief.
These things happen but Daddy is going to take care of you.
Uncle Dominic too." he said.
"Okay but we can still be thieves right?" Sneaker asked.
"Yes we can." he said seeing the piano.
Sometimes when he and Kokoro were still up, and Sneaker was asleep, he would play the piano but Sneaker reminded him of himself at this age playing his song as Sneaker smiled falling asleep, but he kissed her head.
"I love you so much." he said softly.
He left her to sleep leaving her room but knew it was nearly morning but heard his phone ring as it was a certain eagle but were talking.
"Sneak just fell asleep, but I don't blame her.
She misses her mother." he said.
Dominic understood seeing his friend go get coffee but knew it was Sneaker's first day of pre-school today and the kid would be too tired for it, knowing how excited both her and Constantine had been.
"Papa I don't wanna go to pre-school!
I wanna stay with you and learn thief skills." Sneaker said.
"I know sweetie but we need school plus we can have fun later." Constantine assured her as she was wearing a cape like his going into class but Dominic knew something was bound to happen.
"That's what I'm counting on!" Constantine said chuckling.
He understood but knew his Number One cared about Sneaker, so sighed.
He just hoped things would get better but later they heard from the teacher that Sneaker had pushed some kids outside making Constantine smirk proud.
"We don't encourage that kind of behaviour at school." the teacher said.
"Hey my Little Thief was standing up for herself." Cobstantine rebutted.
Sneaker hugged her Dad's leg making him chuckle as he was proud of her but wanted to hear about her day as they were going for ice cream.
"The other kid started it by making fun Papa." she said.
"I see but I'd rather you stand up than let kids push you around." he said.
"Yeah!" Sneaker replied.
Constantine chuckled as he was right and were getting ice cream but Dominic sighed as he knew that Constantine was going through a rough time because of Kokoro.
He knew that Sneaker was having rough time without her mother plus was protective of her father.
