Katniss holds my hand and I'm already crying. I ask if she's succeeded and she says, "Yes."
I say that she must win… for all of us. She agrees.
And then I tell her to sing.
She's shocked but sings anyways. It's unfamiliar but I can tell it's a reassuring lullaby. I close my eyes, beginning to slip away before the song's finished.
My last long and I don't even get to finish it, I think grimly.
And then, I'm gone.
