Take Me Away

"Jareth! JARETH!" Sarah screamed out of rage as she slammed her bedroom door. Oh, what am I supposed to do? She wondered, how do I handle this woman. She was referring to Karen, her stepmother of course. They had just gotten into another huge fight, and several things had been broken as Sarah had hurled them at her stepmother's head. Now she would be grounded for the rest of forever. It always went the same way, and it always ended up with Sarah being grounded.

"So, what happened this time?" Asked a voice behind her that was all too familiar. It was Jareth, naturally.

"The same thing that always happens, what do you think?" she answered angrily. She flopped down on her bed and sighed.

"Temper temper, that's no way to treat the man who's going to help you, is it?"

"Yeah, yeah, what are you going to do that will help huh? Turn Karen into a pig?"

"If you wish." He sighed at this, "I wish you weren't so hardheaded. If you just came Underground with me, your life could be complete. You wouldn't have Karen yelling at you all the time, bossing you around. I would do anything for you..."

"I told you this already, I can't just leave Toby here with these people."

"They treat little Toby differently, don't you see that? It's him they love. He grows spoiled and fat while you are left to pick up his crumbs. You're better than that. I hope you can see that someday." He said as he disappeared in a whirl of glitter. Sarah lay on her bed, thinking about what it would be like to be the Goblin King's queen, what it would be like to get away from her house, and family. But most of all Karen. She was just about to call Jareth back to take him up on his offer when she fell asleep.

Suddenly, she was in Jareth's castle.

"Jareth, why am I here?" she asked.

"Karen wished you away. She found your copy of 'Labyrinth' and wished you away. She isn't going to come and save you,

"Jareth, this is stupid. I have things to do, just let me go."

"I can't do that Sarah. I have to turn you into a goblin."

"Jareth, you know me! Stop this! Jareth, you can't turn me into a Goblin, I love you!"

"I'm sorry Sarah." Everything started turning hazy, suddenly she was spinning. In her room, Sarah snapped awake.

"Jareth! I need you." She said looking around her room. Looking at her bedside alarm clock, she was surprised to see that it was four o'clock in the morning. I think I love Jareth! She thought, how can that be when a month ago the thought of him made me sick?

"You called?" Jareth's smooth voice popped Sarah out of her stupor.

"Was that real? Did Karen wish me away?" she asked.

"No, love," He whispered in her ear, making goose bumps break out on her arms, "You're dream meant nothing." Sarah looked up into his dreamy blue eyes, and felt her heart jump into her throat. Jareth sat next to her on her bed, and leaned over and kissed her gently on the lips.

"Come away with me Sarah. There is nothing but a life of misery and heartbreak for you here. Come with me to my castle, and I will fulfill your life."

"I love you Jareth. But not yet."

"Very well, I will wait for you." He said and kissed her again on the lips, this time much longer. When he drew away Sarah's arms were covered in goose bumps. He looked away and in the time it too her to blink he was gone.

Tell me how you liked it! I think it might need more details, that kind of thing, but tell me if it's cheesy or dumb or anything like that. I didn't have a very good start, but there's more to come!
