Forgotten Blessing:
The Doctor once again found himself alone in the TARDIS. The space just seemed bigger and bigger when there was no one to share it with. Everyone was lost or had moved on with their life. He was glad, of course he was. He missed them like hell, but their were happy, that's all that mattered. Except for Donna. She wasn't happy without him. She didn't know him now. She never could. A lump gathered in the Doctor's throat as he thought about Donna. She was back to being the gobby, trivial woman who appeared in the TARDIS that Christmas Eve. Back then she didn't know about aliens and all this stuff and at first it was like she didn't want to know. She couldn't see the bigger picture and she appeared self centred. She wasn't though, oh she so wasn't. The Donna Noble he know, that he travelled with, that was his best friend was completely different to that. She was sensitive, she was caring, she was loving. Yes, she was sarcastic and loud but that wasn't a bad thing. She was brilliant, she just needed the Doctor to show her that. Now she was back to being a temp.
Maybe, the Doctor couldn't help thinking, it was a good thing that Donna couldn't remember. He knew it wasn't a good thing that she would've lost her sense of adventure and he whole 'self'. The self she was with the Doctor, he knew that wasn't good. But right now, he was sitting alone in his TARDIS with infinite space and no best friend to share it with. He could remember every single thing he and Donna had done. Every single moment was written on his memory and he had to deal with the pain of losing her. So maybe it was a blessing in disguise that she didn't have to go through that pain at all. She didn't know what she had lost. She couldn't remember like the Doctor couldn't forget. And it was his only comfort that at least she wasn't hurting like he was.
A/N: It's probz crap, but it was 11pm and I was upset, and this was the only way I could write it…
