Gru took his girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes to a zoo because one of his minions got kidnapped. Kevin is in one of the zoo pens.
"Where are we?" Agnes asked. Margo looked at a sign. "It says Central Park Zoo." Margo said.
"Yeah, now girls, we're only here because Kevin is captured." Gru said. "Search the entire zoo." Gru said. The girls nodded.
Kevin's good friend, Stuart joined Gru and the girls on the search for Kevin. "Gru." Stuart said. "Stuart? What are you doing here?" Gru asked.
"I want to help. Kevin's a good friend of mine." Stuart said. Agnes looked at Gru. "Something wrong Agnes?" Gru asked.
"I was thinking. Can Stuart help us?" Agnes asked. Gru nodded. "Yeah. Here's the plan. You and Margo go in one direction and the rest of us will go in the other." Gru said. The girls and Stuart nodded.
"Where's Lucy?" Margo asked. "She's in charge of the minions. We don't want Dru to cause problems again like he did on February 27th." Gru said. "Oh. Right." Margo said. "I'll see you and Agnes in two hours." Gru said.
Margo said Agnes walked away. Edith was with Gru. "Doesn't this place look familiar?" Edith asked. "What?" Gru asked.
"I don't know. I just thought that this zoo looks very familiar." Edith said. Stuart saw a bunch of bananas. He tried to look away, but he couldn't resist.
"Banana!" Stuart yelled. Gru gasped. "Oh no." Gru said. "Banana!" Stuart screamed and he ran to the bananas.
"Come back!" Edith yelled. Gru facepalmed. "Oh great. Now we lost Kevin and Stuart." Gru said. "Gru, we'll find them." Edith said. "I hope so." Gru said.
Stuart ran to the bananas and he started eating one. A zookeeper named Alice walked over to the minion. Alice hated her job as the zookeeper, but she had to get the money. She saw Stuart.
"Ugh another one." Alice said. "Huh?" Stuart asked. Alice picked Stuart up. "You're coming with me!" Alice yelled and she left with Stuart. "No!" Stuart screamed.
Margo and Agnes were watching an otter jump into the water and then looked at the girls. "Nice." Margo said. Agnes nodded.
Alice walked past the girls. "Banana!" Stuart screamed. Margo and Agnes heard the screaming. "Stuart?" Margo asked.
Gru and Edith saw Margo and Agnes. "Margo! Agnes!" Edith yelled. "Bad news!" Gru yelled. "Stuart got captured by the zookeeper?" Margo asked.
"Yes. Wait, how did you know?" Gru asked. "We just saw him with the zookeeper." Agnes said. "What?" Edith asked.
"What Agnes is saying is that the zookeeper just passed us and she was holding Stuart." Margo said. "Oh." Edith said.
"Where is she taking him?" Gru asked. Margo shrugged. "You don't know?" Edith asked. Agnes shook her head. "There has to be an area where the zookeeper works at. Come on." Gru said.
Gru and his girls ran to the place where Alice was. "Excuse me?" Agnes asked. Alice saw them. "What do you want?" Alice asked.
"We're looking for a yellow minion." Edith said. "There are two." Alice said. "Well we need them. They're not zoo animals." Margo said.
"Well that's great, but you're not getting them." Alice said. "Why not?" Agnes asked. "Read my lips. You are not getting those yellow creatures! Good day!" Alice yelled and she slammed the door.
Agnes gasped. She ran to Gru and started crying. Gru saw what happened and he had it. He knocked on the door.
Alice opened the door. "What now?" She asked. Gru didn't say anything. Instead, he took his freeze ray out. "Freeze ray!" Gru yelled and he froze Alice.
Then Gru grabbed the keys from Alice. "Let's find Kevin and Stuart." Gru said. The girls nodded.
"Stuart can be anywhere." Margo said. "Agreed." Edith said. Agnes saw a lemur with a crown. Agnes laughed.
"Did you find Kevin and/or Stuart?" Gru asked. Agnes shook her head. "No. I found a lemur wearing a crown." Agnes said.
"What?" Gru asked. The lemur looked at Gru and the girls. "Hello! Felonius! The lemur yelled.
Gru gasped. "Oh no. Not that guy." Gru said. "You know him?" Edith asked. "Apparently. He's the guy who said that he's a great babysitter." Gru said.
"Oh yeah. I remember." Agnes said. "He was annoying." Margo said.
Julien walked over to Gru. "It's so good to see you Felonius." Julien said.
"Come on girls. Let's go." Gru said. He carried Agnes and held Margo and Edith's hands.
Felonius and the girls were running. "What are we doing?" Agnes asked. "We're running away from that lemur." Gru said.
"Kevin, Kevin?" Margo asked. "Stuart? Where are you?" Edith asked. "I don't see Kevin or Stuart." Margo said. "But I do see a lemur who's chasing Gru." Agnes said.
"I know and I can't stand him! This was the guy who was trying to be the best babysitter. Now quickly, let's find those two minions and get out of here!" Gru yelled.
The girls nodded. "No worries. We're doing it right now!" Edith yelled. The three girls looked everywhere and they finally found Kevin. Kevin was in the Chimpanzee Habitat.
"Kevin." Agnes said. "Bello." Kevin said. "Where's Stuart?" Margo asked. "Stuart? Stuart?" Edith asked. Gru sighed. He saw Stuart. Stuart was in the lemur habitat.
"Maurice, Mort, look at this cute little guy. I found him." Julien said. "Your majesty. Where did you find that yellow creature?" Maurice asked. "I can't remember." Julien said.
"Stuart. Oh no." Gru said. He ran over to the habitat. "Hey! Lemur head! Give me my minion back." Gru said. "Felonius!" Julien yelled. "You know this guy?" Maurice asked. "Yeah. He's one of my best friends." Julien said.
"Just give me Stuart back." Gru said. "Maurice, Mort, this is Felonius Gru." Julien said. "How do you deal with him?" Gru asked. "I can." Maurice said. Stuart walked over to Gru. "Gru." Stuart said. Gru grabbed Stuart and left.
"Hope to talk soon." Julien said. "Yeah. Not soon enough. Let's get out of here." Gru said. Gru, the girls, and the minions left.
"We are never coming here again." Gru said and he drove back to his house.
