I don't own the characters. They rightfully belong to Isayama Hajime. Anyways, I hope you like this.
Levi was seething. He was practically boiling to the point he'd blow up, and it all has to do with a shit brick that doesn't know how to keep his things organized. Apparently, Levi had been cleaning the cadet's barracks when he came across the golden door. Of course, he opened it and immediately regretted his vast decision. The kid's room literally equals that of a dog house, Levi decided.
He walked through the hallways of the base with his cleaning supplies, punishing anyone that dared to talk to him when he's in a foul mood.
Well, landing a good one on someone's backside isn't punishment enough if they actually don't cry.
But who cares? Levi certainly don't. If he could at least hunt the little brat down and give HIM a good kick, it would certainly do them beneficial. On a second thought, Levi would.
'Shit my dick on a stick, these rascals need to be taught a lesson or two about hygiene and discipline.' Levi thought angrily as he was about two seconds away from blowing up on a random cadet's face, who currently decided to sign her death certificate as she chose this moment to brag to Levi and attempt to woo him. 'My god that voice of hers makes me want to cut my ears off.'
"-and also, my mother owns a coffee shop from just a few blocks from here so, would you like to-" The blonde-haired girl was cut off as Levi shot a blasé look at her. "Okay cadet, cut the crap and get to training already. I don't give three shits about whether your mother invented cookies or even a goddamn coffee shop. I've got shit to do on my own." He stalked off, tucking his floor mop carefully under his arm. Levi didn't care if he came off harsh. He doesn't even bother when the girl backed away, her eyes filling with tears before she ran off. Tch, females and their drama.
He was just about to open the door to the supply closet when it slammed open, Eren flying out and crashing against the wall opposite of him. "What th-" The force of the door hitting Levi knocked him back with the supplies, Eren right on top of him. He shook his head and looked at the little brat on his lap. His eyes widened. Eren had a bloody nose and a bruised cheek. He could barely open his eyes. Levi felt his insides ignite with fire as he turned his head and stared up at the next victim of his wrath.
His eye twitched. "Jean Kirstein." Levi growled. The kid with two hair tones paled as Levi stood up, pulling Eren to sit up against the wall.
The he turned towards Jean and cracked his knuckles, his steely-blue eyes flashing.
Erwin stared at Levi. He stared hard and closely at the Captain as said man was breathing heavily, his shirt covered in blood as well as his hair disheveled. 'Gross, not only I have blood on my shirt but I haven't even got time to clean it off straightaway.'
Sigh.
"Levi." Erwin furrowed his glossy eyebrows, "You sure you haven't broken anything of that kid?" Levi huffed, glaring out the window and crossing his arms. "Who cares if he broke anything? That brat had it coming." Levi's fists clenched. "Jaeger never even told me that he's the one that keeps kicking his ass all the time." His mind eventually drifted back to the young titan shifter, the times he'd nervously fiddle with his fingers whenever Levi asks about the bruises on him. He was slightly surprised that Eren hadn't turned into a titan yet.
"Sure Levi, but don't you think that-" Erwin started but was cut off when Levi gave him a glare.
"Think what?! That it's okay to not bother about it and let Kirstein beat the shit out of anybody he wants? No Erwin, I won't just sit there and watch that bastard do whatever he wants to someone I am supposed to keep under my wing!" Levi spat. "Do you think that it'll be okay to just let it be and watch the poor kid shrivel up on the ground like that? Erwin, you and I both know that what I did was for the good for both of them! I understand I went too far on the bastard but that doesn't even come close to what he did to my little brat!"
Erwin sighed. 'Levi was right though. That Kirstein kid did deserve what he had coming.'
Levi was seething as he walked over to the window and looked outside of it, huffing. "If he ever happens to come anywhere near my little brat again I won't hesitate to beat the living hell out of him a second time, Erwin."
Erwin looked at his desk and clasped his hands together. "How's Eren doing?" Levi immediately turned to meet Erwin's gaze. His eyes were soft at the mention of the said kid's name.
Erwin chuckled internally, 'Levi must really care about Eren.' He thought.
"I checked up on him a while back before you called me in here," Levi started, "Apparently, the bastard managed to land a good one on his face and broke a few ribs of his." Levi growled, narrowing his eyes. Erwin admits, Levi's expressions frightens him too sometimes.
After a few more minutes of conversing, Levi walked out of the Commander's office and went straight to the infirmary, where Eren resided. The poor kid was shaking as well as in so much pain that made Levi's insides clench. He walked over to Eren and sat on the chair next to the bed.
"Eren."
Said titan shifter opened his eyes and turned his head at his Heichou. "Y-yes Heichou?" His weak voice came out hoarse.
"Tell me everything." Was all Levi said before he stared at Eren, quietly berating himself for not being there to protect this brat all the time.
Eren let out a small whine. He slowly sat up and leaned against the head board. "H-Hanji said that my titan shifting abilities aren't working for a while, so that's the reason I'm not healing fast." He started. "A-also, Jean and I… Well, he and I always had a bit of rivalry going on ever since the time we joined the Training Corps. He'd pick a fight with me and well, try to piss me off. It normally works but after what happened back at the expedition with the Female Titan and all, I just stopped caring about anything like that. I guess I've fully focused myself on trying to protect humanity instead of wasting time on a douche like him. Oh and for the record, we used to date. So yea, he's pretty sour about it." Eren chuckled softly, making Levi almost give him a smile. Almost.
"Well, you don't have to worry about that piece of shit anymore, Jaeger. Because I've fully focused myself on beating the shit out of anybody that lays a finger on you from this point on." That made Eren blush. "Heichou…" His half lidded eyes made Levi excited. He stood up and sat on the bed before moving closer to the brat. His brat.
"Yes?" He whispered gently. Eren shivered at the low voice. "I… I-I love you Heichou." Eren blushed red and looked at his lap. Levi tilted his chin up. Then he kissed him.
"I love you too brat."
